Ford Trades Test Drives for Box Tops

Who doesn't love Box Tops For Education? We get delicious cereal and schools get more funding. What could be better, right? Well, as it turns out, it can get better, and we here at York Ford would like to take a minute to take a minute to go over the benefits of Ford and Box Tops For Education's partnership with you.

No, you won't be finding a Ford Explorer or a Ford Fiesta at the bottom of your next cereal box. Rather, you'll have the opportunity to award your child's school with more points toward their school's Box Tops For Education program simply by doing something you've likely already wanted to do for a long time: Test drive a new Ford!

This all comes as a part of the American automaker's Ford Drives Box Tops" Sweepstakes. Through this new promotion Ford is hoping to reach a total of $1-million in Box Tops for Education points to be rewarded to eager test drivers, who will be given a eBoxTop in place of an actual box clipping, to enter online.

"This is just another example of us going local and grassroots," says Ford Group VP Jim Farley. "It's a modern program in that it is so local and so authentic."1

There are three ways, overall, that those who wish to participate in this program can do so. The first and foremost exciting way is to simply arrange a test drive on that new Ford model you've been eyeing at your local Ford dealership (e.g., York Ford, located at 1481 Broadway,   Route 1 South Saugus, MA 01906). The second is by requesting a brochure online from Ford. And, the third way is to simply watch product video on the Ford or Box Top website.

Of course, we still think that any time is a great time to arrange a test drive on a model like the Ford Expedition or Ford Focus, simply by dialing (888) 874-0636 or submitting a contact form online. Or, you can also learn more about each of the vehicles we carry, simply by browsing our online inventory and showroom pages, where you'll find info on financing or leasing your next ford, as well as tips to best maintain it through our dedicated Ford parts and service/repair departments.
