Ford Bringing Back SHO in 2011

The Ford Taurus has been killed off and resurrected thanks to its fans and car buyers. Now, another Taurus model which has been made famous by "Sleeper" fans is back.

The Ford Taurus SHO (Super High Output) has been reborn.

The 2010 Taurus SHO will soon be available at York Ford. The new Super High Output's equipped Ford vehicle comes with a with a twin-turbocharged 365 Horse Power Ecoboost V6.

Starting price for Taurus SHO is $37,995 for this ultra-powerful sedan. SHO boasts 350 lb-ft of torque, going beyond the previously rated 355 Horse Power in the 2010 Ford Flex.

SHO's peak torque starts from 1500 RPM and tops out at 3500 RPM. That brings it almost to the level of a diesel engine vehicle. Ford boldly claims the Taurus SHO will return 25 miles per gallon, high for a V6 performance car.

SHO has a huge following - sparking fan websites and car clubs nationwide. Owners and enthusiasts come from all over in their '89, '90, '91 & '92 models to share in the love of the car. 2010 will hopefully be the first of more years that Taurus SHO will be available from Ford dealers.

And now Taurus SHO can be yours - check it out at York Ford
